Team pentecode, pentecode, its apps, and pentecode.com are run by Pentecode PLT, a limited liabilities partnership, registered in Malaysia.
EMAILS
When visitors voluntarily provide us with their email, either through the “contact us” page, feedback form within our apps or through other means, we collect the email address and name, if provided. When you provide us with the email (and name) we may use it to communicate with you about a topic that is started from you (e.g. help with app usage) or to inform you about our activities and news.

DEVICE & OPERATION SYSTEM INFORMATION
When you send us feedback or contact us within our apps, some device information will be sent to us along with your feedback, in order for us to better understand/troubleshoot the issue.

ANALYTICS
When you are using our apps or website, we receive analytics information for improvement via 3rd party companies, namely Google Analytics and Mixpanel.
The data we collected via Google Analytics and Mixpanel does NOT INCLUDE any Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
Pentecode only collects analytical information, such as general location (countries and cities, not precise location), timezone, browsers and operating system’s version, app version, device information, screen size and resolution, event (e.g. app open, app page switching, app crash, etc.), etc.

YOUR DATA STORED WITHIN APPS OR CLOUD SERVICES
Your private data that are not publicly available, such as your image/photo, steps information, photo’s location, or text you stored within our apps, are stored locally in your device and NOT accessible to Pentecode, or any 3rd party at all. We do not transmit such information to our server (i.e. cloud service), as such information is stored locally within your phone only.
If you purchased any products, such as image collection, from us, the products’ data are stored on our server and can be downloaded into your device. They do not consist of your private data, and absolutely no Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is contained.
In the case that you choose to utilize our server (i.e. cloud service), provided by 3rd party storage provider, for storage of your private data, we will transmit your private data to the server for storage and your perusal only. Your data will NOT be accessible to Pentecode or any 3rd party without your prior written approval, unless requested by a legally recognizable government organization that has the authority to access your data, such as with a court order.
WEBSITE’S COMMENTS
When visitors leave comments on pentecode.com (mainly in the blog section) we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service provided by 3rd party service.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
WEBSITE’S MEDIA
If you upload images to our website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
WEBSITE’S COOKIES
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
WEBSITE’S EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
Data submitted to us via apps or this website might be retained indefinitely. We do not collect Personal Identifiable Information (PII) through our apps unless you provide it to us while sending feedback or requesting support.
If you leave a comment on our website, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA
If you have used our apps, or an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Please note that our apps do not collect any personal data unless you send us something while contacting us or sending us feedback.
